How long do I have to claim my Prepaid Fuel Card?
You must successfully claim your Prepaid Fuel Card by 31.08.23. If you need assistance doing this, please email us at hello@charleshurstfuel.co.uk and we'll get back to you within 3 working days.
When will my card arrive after successfully submitting my application?
Please allow up to 21 days from date of submission to receive your card which will arrive in the post together with a letter detailing how to use it.
How long do I have to use my Prepaid Fuel Card?
Your Prepaid Fuel Card will be valid for use at any UK Fuel Station / EV charging point (Irish Fuel Station / EV charging point for Republic of Ireland customers) for 12 months or more from the date you receive it in the post. The validity will be shown on your card.
What if I misplace the Prepaid Fuel Card I successfully claim?
We can't give you a replacement card if you lose it, so please keep it safe.
I haven’t received my code or have lost the code emailed to me by Charles Hurst?
Please contact hello@charleshurstfuel.co.uk and we'll look to resend you your code.
How do I activate my Prepaid Fuel Card when it arrives?
Your card will arrive on a Charles Hurst branded letter that will provide instructions on how to activate it. There will be an automated number to call and you’ll be asked to enter the 16 digit card number on the front of your card and your date of birth in a 6 digit format. Once you’ve done that, your card will be activated and you’ll be able to retrieve the cards PIN number.
My Prepaid Fuel Card wasn't accepted when I tried to use it at a Fuel Station?
Your Fuel Prepaid Card won’t work if you try to use it as a part payment for your fuel. For example, if you have £60 (€60 for Irish customers) on your Fuel Card and you try and purchase £70 (€70 for Irish customers) of fuel you won’t be able to pay the first £60 (€60 for Irish customers) using your card.
You must make your fuel purchase inside the fuel station store. The Prepaid Fuel Card is NOT VALID for use at the 'pay at pump' facilities.

What do I do with my Prepaid Fuel Card once I have used the funds on it?
The card is of no further use to you, so simply cut it up and discard it.
Do any fees or charges apply to the Prepaid Fuel Card?
No, the Prepaid Fuel Card does not have any fees attached to it.
